So, I made a list of the projects that I initially wanted to complete this month; and let me tell you I was doing THEEE most with the absolute least. I tried to fit way too many projects into this little 30 day-deadline. What made me think that I can write 3 manuscripts, an EP, a film, read for law school, visit every country in the world, and carry Madame Zeroni up the mountain in one month? WHO DO I THINK I AM?!

See…this is why I get overwhelmed. I had to hit Ctrl+A and delete that nonsense list, chile. I, then, created a shorter list of feasible goals (three–to be exact).

It’s about time that I stop trying to do the most, and start seeing the forest for the trees.

Today, I realized that nothing really gets done in the process of trying to do everything. I’m starting to keep it simple, and I can get used to this.

I always believe in the saying “do less but better”. Having more on our plate doesn’t necessarily mean we’re doing well. Some people can thrive in that mindset, others can’t. It’s all about finding our individual pace. Here’s to keeping it simple!
