I recently found a few write ups that I completed a few years back. I most likely thought that they were terrible at the time they were written, so I never did anything with them. They, in turn, ended up collecting proverbial dust in my “drafts” folder. My work has a lot of room for improvement, but upon a second glance, I realized that they aren’t as bad as I thought.
Although my old drafts are wordy and half-baked, they still contain moments of brilliance that I can build upon to create something even better. It’s now time to turn these drafts into finished products.
If you’ve been struggling to find inspiration, maybe you should consult the work that you’ve already created. In your “drafts” folder, you may be able to find some old work that can give you the creative spark that you’ve been looking for.
